Lighthouse by Isla

There are a big tall tower with a little town down below. Some people were having a party inside. There was a grandad. He was an old, most miserable man. He slammed the window. Then there was a crash. The window flew open and the lights went out. He got up, he went up the steps and looked the light. He picked it up and he fell over his toolbox. Then he saw a boat in the corner of his eyes. He was very worried. He saw lights and he went down the stairs to see what they were. He opened the door. He saw the party people walking towards the lighthouse. His face was glowing in the light and he was very happy and glad.

La Luna by Isla

A boy, a granddad and a dad are in a boat. The moon came up from the sky. The dad pulled up a ladder. The boy wrapped an anchor around him. He climbed up the ladder and he started to float up.

The granddad climbed up and then the dad. They were arguing. The ground started to shake. A shooting star came down. It was a very big star. The boy touched it. It was like a boulder in the sky.

The dad and granddad were fighting again. The boy climbed up the star. He hit it with a little hammer. The boy fell down off of the stars. The stars were as shiny as gold.

The boy said he wanted to look at the clean moon. They went down the ladder and looked at the half moon.
